What the Garden Is

Most writing begins with an attempt to produce words.

The Writing Garden begins earlier than that.

It begins with listening.

Every writer already carries ideas within them.

Writing often begins when something that has been quietly carried is finally recognized.

The Writing Garden helps writers move from:

The difference is important.

When an idea becomes clear, the writing naturally follows.

The garden simply provides the space where this can happen.

Seeds is a seven-week exploration where one idea is gently nurtured with the support of a Listening Partner until it becomes a finished piece of writing.
